Godzilla Minus One was Amazing especially in Theaters… The Atomic breath is actually ATOMIC!!! So Fucking cool, BTW They did re-released this film in Theaters as a Black and White film and THAT is how this movie should be watched!

This was on cable a lot when I was a kid. While I would say I like this movie, I might even go so far as to say I have nostalgia for it, I might have an equal amount of bad nostalgia too? (oh God, is that just trauma? xD) Like, just about every character in this is a piece of garbage who only deserves the worst, and yet paradoxically I feel like the hijinks they suffer go too far. Each participant in the rat race was a wicked angel sent by God to spread misery and human suffering. The shmaltzy ending didn't make up for their multitude of sins.

This Godzilla is smaller. But still huge to humans. Look at the size of people underfoot. I mean he's still pretty big. Also in Godzilla movies Godzilla usually returns even bigger than befor. This Godzilla might be smaller because he's younger in this movie. Maybe his just a rebellious teenager just being a hot head attacking boats and terrorizing people . He do seem more mischievous and angry in this movie.

I can only speak from post-Vietnam US Navy. 1. There are always more than one CC in boot camp (at least in the Navy) where partially recruits can't be abused. Verbal abuse is one thing but physical was a NO GO. 2. Vincent D'Onofrio played the Bug in "MIB", and had to put on 50lbs for this role 3. Hardman was out of control. Others outside his recruits would have noticed and he would have been held accountable. 4. "I don't know, but I've been told. Eskimo pussy is mighty cold." was used in my Navy recruit company in 1981. 5. In the US Navy real live ammo was always accounted for, and Pyle wouldn't have had it on his person in the head. 6. The lights in the head are always lit. (lighting I suspect). 7. "Blanket parties" were a real deal. We didn't have one because we didn't have a Gomer Pyle. 8. The hooker in Saigon is just distracting them so the motorcycle guys can steal the camera. I saw that happen in the Philippines. 9. "I wouldn't shit you, you're my favorite turd" I've used that before. 10. Even by Hollywood standards, Kubrick went overboard with excessive bloodletting. 11. This is clearly an Anti-Vietnam movie. Kubrick chomped at the bit to get this one.

8 was the season end pretty sure with 9 just as a bonus episode released months later after ep 8 inbetween season 1 and 2's release. It works extra well when you keep in mind people wanted more smiling friends after season 1 and Zach & Micheal just seemingly as response release this anticlimax of an episode as a way to 'spoil' the people eagerly waiting for more of their stuff. Ehren being hit in the nuts with the pogostick…the punch hurt, the softball was bad, the hockey puck looked painful, but the pogostick with that impact…just oooo damn, that was one of the hardest to watch for me. Looked mega painful

I saw it in IMAX with a loud sound system and the seats actually shook during the Godzilla attacks and you could literally feel his roar. It was amazing. There's also a black & white version that I'm dying to see in theaters and I'm pissed that I missed when it played. Best Godzilla film ever.

I love the foreshadowing in this film. The dead radiated deep sea fish rising to the surface too fast that their stomachs explode out of their mouths due to the rapid pressure changes. They attempt to do the very same thing to Godzilla by using the force of nature against him where tanks and battleships seemingly have failed. But Godzilla is also a force of nature born of mankind's nuclear energy. Can he even be destroyed? Godzilla is the unknown element. -OG

Godzilla is the revenge upon mankind's war. That's his very being, and he takes it out on Japan. Godzilla was born of nuclear energy. He was created from all the atomic experimental tests of war in the deep ocean. It's unfortunate timing because Japan is no longer at war. They are a defeated country, and then Godzilla comes to unleash his fury upon them. In a way, Godzilla is the ultimate anti-war monster. He'll put an end to that war with a single atomic breath. I love how the civilians band together as one with a motto of no lives loss to stop Godzilla and without the aid of the government. This is truly an anti-war film. -OG
